In this video, I’ll show you how to set up reminders in Clockify to help ensure that your employees remember to track their time throughout the week. Reminders can be useful for making sure time tracking stays on schedule. Here’s how to set them up:

  1. Access Reminders Settings:
    • Start by going to the Clockify app and navigating to the sidebar.
  2. Click on “Team”:
    • In the sidebar, click on the “Team” option.
  3. Go to the “Reminders” Tab:
    • Within the “Team” section, you’ll find a tab labeled “Reminders.” Click on it.
  4. Set Up Reminders:
    • In the “Reminders” tab, you can set up various reminders based on your preferences and needs. Here are the options you can use to configure reminders:
      • Who to Remind: Choose whether you want to send reminders to “Everyone,” “Managers,” or “All Admins.”
      • When to Send Reminders: Determine when the reminder should be sent based on time intervals:
        • Daily: You can set a daily reminder.
        • Weekly: Reminders can be sent on a weekly basis.
        • Monthly: Reminders can be sent monthly.
      • Condition for Sending: Decide on the condition that should trigger the reminder:
        • For example, you can choose to remind those who track “less than” or “more than” a specific number of hours per day, week, or month.
      • Threshold: Set the specific number of hours that should trigger the reminder based on the condition you’ve selected.
      • Message: You can customize the message that will be included in the reminder.
  5. Click “Add”:
    • After configuring your reminder settings, click the “Add” button to create the reminder.
  6. Manage and Delete Reminders:
    • You can create multiple reminders with different conditions and messages to cater to different scenarios.
    • To delete a reminder, simply click the “X” button next to the reminder you want to remove.
  7. Confirmation:
    • Once a reminder is created, it will appear in the list of reminders you’ve set up.
