What to fill in
For each phase, record the work to learn, a measurable success check, the training support available, who approves exceptions and the manager’s next review. Include relevant teammates the new hire needs to meet. Where a practical test fails, retain supervision and record an actual retest date.
This document is a role-development aid. The separate first-month onboarding checklist covers administrative handoffs and timing requirements. A 90-day planning point has no automatic legal probation effect.
For milestone examples and how to check progress fairly, see the 30-60-90 Day Onboarding Plan guide.
